As the principle consultant for Kelley Bollen Consulting, LLC Kelley works with animal shelters to improve the welfare of the animals and educate the staff about all things behavior.
Kelley has a Master's Degree in Animal Behavior, is a Certified Animal Behavior Consultant (CABC), and a professional member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC). She has specialized in shelter behavioral care for the last 19 years.
Kelley is a Faculty Fellow for the Center for Animals in Public Policy and an Adjunct Professor in the Clinical Sciences Department at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts, lecturing in both the Shelter Medicine and Animal Behavior courses. Kelley also serves on the Tufts Shelter Medicine Program's Academic Steering Committee. Kelley is the former Director of Behavior Programs for the Maddie's Shelter Medicine Program at Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine.
